Steve Small biography

Steve Small is a British author and illustrator known for his work in children’s literature. He has an extensive background in animation and illustration, having worked for over 30 years in the animation industry. Small has contributed to a range of projects, including animated films, commercials, and television series.

As an illustrator, Steve Small collaborated with author Smriti Halls on the picture book I’m Sticking With You, published by Simon & Schuster Children’s Books in 2020. The book was followed by sequels, including I’m Sticking With You Too and I’m Sticking With You – And The Chicken Too!. Small’s illustrations are recognised for their expressive characters and gentle humour.

In addition to his collaborative work, Steve Small is the author and illustrator of The Duck Who Didn’t Like Water, published by Simon & Schuster Children’s Books in 2021. This picture book explores themes of friendship and individuality through the story of a duck who prefers to stay dry.
