Simon Greaves biography

Simon Greaves is a UK educational author whose books support primary pupils preparing for Key Stage 2 National Tests and early secondary readers moving into set texts. He has written widely across maths, science and English, with titles used in classrooms, tuition and home learning.

For primary years he is a contributor to Collins’s revision and practice ranges, including Revise & Shine and Easy Learning. His books cover core skills such as times tables, number work and problem-solving, and include pupil books and practice papers designed for targeted preparation. Companion volumes for science and English present short explanations, worked examples and self-check activities tailored to the KS2 curriculum.

Greaves has also developed materials for early secondary and transition stages. His “Comic Book Shakespeare” resources present plays such as Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth and The Tempest for classroom study, alongside teacher’s books.
