Neil Sharpson is an Irish author and playwright. He is known for his work in both theatre and young adult fiction. Sharpson studied at Trinity College Dublin, where he was involved in the university’s drama society. He has written several plays, some of which have been produced in Ireland.
Sharpson’s debut novel, When the Sparrow Falls, was published by Tor Books in 2021. The novel is a work of speculative fiction set in a future society and explores themes of identity and surveillance. When the Sparrow Falls was originally developed from a stage play written by Sharpson.
