Kristyna Litten biography

Kristyna Litten is a British children’s writer and illustrator. She studied Illustration at Edinburgh College of Art and graduated in 2010.

Her early picture books include Flint’s Odd Socks and Chickens Can’t See in the Dark; trade biographies note that both titles were highly commended for the Macmillan Prize in consecutive years. In 2012, ReadingZone reported that she received a Silver award for AOI Best of British illustration.

Litten has written and illustrated picture books for Simon & Schuster Children’s UK, including Blue and Bertie (2015), Norton and Alpha (2017), Ziggy and the Moonlight Show (2018) and Ori’s Stars (2020).

As an illustrator, her credited titles include The Long Way Home by Corrinne Averiss, published by Stripes on 4 March 2021.
