Recommended reading books for primary & secondary aged children in the UK
Eva Wong Nava is a Singaporean-born author based in the UK. She writes picture books and young adult fiction that often explore heritage, culture and identity.
Her picture books include Wei Ting’s First Day at School (2018) and The House of Little Sisters (2020). She also co-wrote Asian Anthology: New Writing Vol. 1, showcasing contemporary voices from Asia. In 2022, she published The Boy Who Talks in Bits and Bobs, illustrated by Debasmita Dasgupta, which introduces children to themes of neurodiversity.
Her stories have been published internationally in both English and bilingual editions. The Boy Who Talks in Bits and Bobs was published in 2022.
