David Solomons is a British author and screenwriter. His first children’s novel, My Brother Is a Superhero, was published by Nosy Crow in 2015.
My Brother Is a Superhero won the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize in 2016 and the British Book Awards Children’s Book of the Year. The book also topped the Sunday Times children’s bestseller chart and began a five-book series.
Solomons has also written children’s fiction including A Beginner’s Guide to Ruling the Galaxy, The Ministry of Manners, and Doctor Who: The Secret in Vault 13.
The first book in his Spyglass series, SPYGLASS: Mastermind of Mayhem, is listed by Nosy Crow for publication in 2026.
