Ashley Hickson-Lovence is a British author known for his contributions to contemporary literature. He began his career as a secondary school English teacher before transitioning to writing full-time. Hickson-Lovence’s debut novel, The 392, was published in 2019 by OWN IT! and explores the lives of passengers on a London bus. The novel received attention for its unique narrative style and urban setting.

In 2022, Hickson-Lovence published his second novel, Your Show, with Faber & Faber. This work is a fictionalised account of the life of Uriah Rennie, the first black referee in the Premier League.
