Sophy Henn is a picture book author and illustrator. She studied Fashion at Central Saint Martins and later completed an MA in Illustration at the University of Brighton. Before making children’s books, she worked as an art director in advertising.
Her debut picture book, Where Bear?, was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize in 2015 and was nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal. She was the World Book Day Illustrator in 2015 and 2016.
Her work includes the Bad Nana fiction series, the Pom Pom series, the Ted board book series, and the non-fiction titles Lifesize and Lifesize Dinosaurs. She writes and illustrates stories for young readers, including board books for very young children and picture books for early years and primary-aged readers.
Time to Go with Ted was published by Bloomsbury in 2017 for children aged 0 to 3. Bedtime with Ted was published by Bloomsbury Children’s Books on 1 May 2017 as a 10-page board book.
