Sera Milano biography

Sera Milano writes young adult fiction. Her novel This Can Never Not Be Real is a YA thriller about five teenagers caught in a terrorist attack at a local festival in the town of Amberside. The book is told from multiple perspectives and was published on 29 April 2021.

Her novel Vile Stars follows 17-year-old Luka, who is trying to rebuild her life after a bereavement and becomes trapped in a coercive relationship with Cosmo as the pandemic and lockdown begin. The story is told through Luka’s letters and the voices of Alec, Theo and Roisin, and was published on 14 April 2022.

Sera Milano also writes books for younger readers under the name Birdie Milano. Boy Meets Hamster and Boy Meets Ghoul form the Boy Meets Hamster series under that name.
