Sarah Naughton is a British author known for her work in children’s and young adult fiction, as well as psychological thrillers for adults. She studied English Literature at University College London. Naughton’s debut children’s novel, The Hanged Man Rises, was published by Simon & Schuster in 2013. The book was shortlisted for the 2013 Costa Children’s Book Award.
Her second children’s novel, The Blood List, was published in 2014. Naughton has also written adult psychological thrillers, including Tattletale (2017), The Other Couple (2019), and The Mothers (2021), all published by Trapeze, an imprint of Orion Publishing Group.
The Hanged Man Rises was recognised for its historical setting and suspense, earning a place on the shortlist for the 2013 Costa Children’s Book Award. Naughton’s books have been published in the UK and internationally. Her work spans both children’s and adult fiction, with a focus on mystery and psychological suspense.
Her most recent adult novel, The Mothers, was published by Trapeze in 2021.
