Robin Gow is an American poet, author, and educator. Gow is the author of several books for children and young adults, including the verse novel A Million Quiet Revolutions, published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux in 2022. The novel explores themes of identity and history through the story of two transgender boys. Gow has also written Dear Mothman, a middle-grade novel in verse, published by Amulet Books in 2023.
In addition to their work for younger readers, Gow has published poetry collections such as Our Lady of Perpetual Degeneracy (2020) and Honeysuckle (2021). Gow’s writing often addresses LGBTQ+ themes and experiences. Gow holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Adelphi University and has served as a managing editor at the literary magazine The Adirondack Review.
Gow’s work has been recognised by the Lambda Literary Foundation, and they have participated in various literary festivals and workshops. A Million Quiet Revolutions was named a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection in 2022.
