Rashmi Sirdeshpande is a British author who writes for children. Her work includes both fiction and non-fiction, with a focus on making complex ideas accessible and engaging for young readers. Sirdeshpande has a background in law and has worked as a lawyer before turning to writing.
She is the author of several picture books and non-fiction titles. Her non-fiction works include How to Be Extraordinary and How to Change the World, both published by Puffin. These books introduce children to inspiring real-life figures and ideas about making a positive impact. Sirdeshpande has also written Good News: Why the World is Not as Bad as You Think, which presents positive stories and facts for children.
In addition to non-fiction, Sirdeshpande has written picture books such as Never Show a T-Rex a Book, illustrated by Diane Ewen, and Never Teach a Stegosaurus to Do Sums. Her books are published by imprints including Puffin and Nosy Crow.
