Nashae Jones biography

Nashae Jones is a children’s writer, educator and book reviewer. She writes middle-grade fiction. Her debut novel, Courtesy of Cupid, was published by Aladdin on 2 January 2024. The story follows 13-year-old Erin Johnson, who discovers that her father is Cupid and tries to use her new powers to beat her rival Trevor Jin in a school election. A paperback edition of Courtesy of Cupid followed on 7 January 2025.

Her next middle-grade novel, As You Wish, was published by Aladdin on 14 January 2025. That book centres on Bernadette “Birdie” Johnson-Nkrumah, a Ghanaian American girl whose wishes are tangled up with Anansi, the spider god of stories and knowledge. A trade paperback edition of As You Wish is scheduled for 6 January 2026.
