Lucy Fleming biography

Lucy Fleming is a British illustrator known for her work in children’s books. She studied Art and Design at the University of Lincoln, where she specialised in illustration. Fleming has illustrated a range of picture books and chapter books, collaborating with various authors and publishers.

Her illustrations are featured in titles such as Wee Unicorn by Rosie Greening, River Rose and the Magical Christmas by Kelly Clarkson, and Ella and the Ocean by Lian Tanner. Fleming has also illustrated the Owlet Press title We’re Going to Find the Monster! by Malorie Blackman, published in 2020. Her work often appears in books aimed at early years and primary school children, and she has contributed to series including Unicorn Academy by Julie Sykes and Sky Pirates by Alex English.

Lucy Fleming’s illustrations have been published by a range of publishers, including Scholastic, Nosy Crow, and Simon & Schuster. She is represented by the Plum Pudding Illustration agency.
