Letizia Diamante biography

Dr Letizia Diamante is a science communicator and children’s writer. She completed a PhD in Biochemistry and then worked in science communication for public and private organisations, including CERN and the University of Cambridge.

Your Adventures at CERN: Play the Hero Among Particles and a Particular Dinosaur! is an interactive children’s science book illustrated by Claudia Flandoli, published in hardback on 16 November 2021, with 180 pages. The book invites readers to choose the role of a researcher, student or tourist while exploring CERN, particles, science facts, games and quizzes.

Open Wide!: Jaw-dropping mouths of the animal world is a 64-page hardback children’s non-fiction book illustrated by Ed J. Brown. It was published on 3 September 2024 and is aimed at readers aged 7 to 11. The book explores animal mouths, including shark jaws, garden-snail teeth, long tongues and sticky spit, and it includes a glossary and index.
