Lara Bryan biography

Lara Bryan is a children’s writer and editor at Usborne, creating nonfiction, activity and early-learning books for families and schools. She studied English and Italian at the University of Oxford and later taught in Italy and Myanmar before joining Usborne as a writer.

Her books include the accessible reference titles Economics for Beginners, Business for Beginners and Psychology for Beginners, as well as lift-the-flap and question-and-answer books for younger readers such as Questions and Answers about Feelings, Questions and Answers about Money and Questions and Answers about Music. She has also written boredom-busting and practical activity books, including Never Get Bored Outdoors and hands-on spotters, puzzles and “Peek/Peep Inside How It Works” books.

Usborne lists Bryan as the author of dozens of titles across its information and activity lists, and credits her with contributions ranging from STEM to wellbeing.
