Kristen Ciccarelli biography

Kristen Ciccarelli was born in Canada and writes young adult fantasy and romance. Before writing books for a living, she worked as a baker, a potter and a bookseller. Her published work includes the Iskari series, The Crimson Moth duology and A Dark Forgetting.

The Last Namsara, the first book in the Iskari series, was published by HarperTeen on 3 October 2017. The book is a teen high fantasy about Asha, an Iskari and princess, in a story involving dragons, rebellion and the social order of Firgaard.

Heartless Hunter is book 1 of The Crimson Moth and was published on 20 February 2024 by Listening Library as an audiobook for readers aged 12 and up. It begins a romantic fantasy duology about Rune, a witch vigilante known as the Crimson Moth, and Gideon Sharpe, a witch hunter.

Rebel Witch is book 2 of The Crimson Moth and was published on 18 February 2025 by Listening Library as an audiobook for readers aged 12 and up. It concludes the duology by continuing Rune Winters and Gideon Sharpe’s story after the events of Heartless Hunter.
