Kate Nolan is a children’s author and editor whose work for Usborne spans activity, puzzle and early learning books for young readers. A former primary school teacher, she joined Usborne in 2019 and has since written across a wide range of topics for families and schools.
Nolan’s series work includes titles for Poppy and Sam as well as the Usborne Minis range – compact spotting guides, mazes and puzzles designed for travel and outdoor exploration. Her activity lists, sticker books and colouring titles cover subjects from airports, trucks and space to nature, unicorns and farm animals.
She also writes combined book-and-jigsaw packages and pencil-and-paper game pads that support early literacy, numeracy and observation skills through simple, repeatable activities suited to independent use.
She joined Usborne in 2019.
