Janet Charters biography

Janet Charters is a British author known for her work in children’s literature. She wrote The Giant Jam Sandwich, which was first published in 1972. The book features illustrations by John Vernon Lord and has become recognised for its distinctive storytelling and artwork. Charters has also written ABC, which was illustrated by John Vernon Lord and published in 1964. Her collaboration with Lord is notable, as both books have been published by Jonathan Cape.
