Emily Hauser biography

Emily Hauser is a British author and academic specialising in classical literature and mythology. She studied Classics at Cambridge University and later completed a PhD at Yale University.

Hauser is the author of the Golden Apple Trilogy, which reimagines stories from Greek mythology. The series includes For the Most Beautiful (2016), a retelling of the Trojan War from the perspective of female characters, followed by For the Winner (2017) and For the Immortal (2018). Her novels have been published internationally and translated into multiple languages.

Alongside her fiction, Hauser lectures in Classics and writes about the reception of ancient literature in modern culture. For the Most Beautiful was published by Doubleday in 2016.
