Charlotte Milner biography

Charlotte Milner is an illustrator and author. She studied illustration at Kingston University, where she developed an interest in using picture books to bring non-fiction topics to life for young readers. She writes, designs and illustrates children’s books, with conservation as a recurring subject in her work.

Her author-illustrator books include The Bee Book, The Sea Book, The Bat Book and The Rainforest Book. These titles form part of the Conservation for Kids series, a children’s non-fiction picture book series about the natural world.

The Bee Book was written and illustrated by Charlotte Milner and published by DK Publishing on 6 February 2018. The 48-page informational picture book introduces honeybees through topics including colony structure, reproduction, pollination, honey production, the importance of bees to food production, threats to bees and ways children can support pollinators.
