Ben Miller is a British author and actor. He is known for writing children’s books, including The Night I Met Father Christmas (2018), published by Simon & Schuster. His subsequent titles include The Boy Who Made the World Disappear (2019), The Day I Fell Into a Fairytale (2020), How I Became a Dog Called Midnight (2021), The Night We Got Stuck in a Story (2022), and Once Upon a Legend (2023). Miller’s books are published in the UK by Simon & Schuster Children’s Books.
Before his writing career, Miller gained recognition as an actor and comedian, notably as part of the comedy duo Armstrong and Miller. He has also appeared in television series such as Death in Paradise and Bridgerton.
Miller’s children’s books have been well received and are frequently featured in UK bookshops and libraries. The Night I Met Father Christmas was his debut children’s novel. His works often blend adventure and humour, and several have been shortlisted for children’s book awards. In 2021, The Day I Fell Into a Fairytale was shortlisted for the British Book Awards Children’s Fiction Book of the Year.
His most recent children’s book, Once Upon a Legend, was published in 2023.
