Tobey Cole is a children’s author and screenwriter. Trained in filmmaking at the MetFilm School, Ealing, he writes for young readers and adapts stories for visual media.
Cole collaborated with Steve Cole on the graphic-novel reboot Astrosaurs: Mission to Infinity (Piccadilly Press, September 2025), working with illustrator Alex Lopez to reimagine the original chapter-book adventures as a full-colour comic for newly independent readers. Trade listings record a paperback edition (ISBN 9781800789333) positioned for lower- to middle-primary audiences.
Alongside children’s publishing, Cole has undertaken screenwriting projects and short-form work, drawing on his film training to shape dialogue-led storytelling and visual pacing for younger readers.
