There, she encounters a secret society in which powerful human families are connected to vampires, including Susenyos Sagad, whom Kidan suspects of abducting her sister.

The concluding volume of the trilogy, Infernal Vow, is scheduled for UK publication in November 2026. The three books form a connected young adult fantasy series centred on Kidan Adane, vampire society and the political struggles surrounding Uxlay University.
