Susan Dennard biography

Susan Dennard writes young adult fantasy and horror. Before becoming an author, she completed an M.Sc. in marine biology. She also teaches writing and runs the Misfits & Daydreamers newsletter for writers.

Her Witchlands books are young adult fantasy novels centred on a world where people can be born with a magical skill called a witchery. The series includes Truthwitch, Windwitch, Sightwitch, Bloodwitch, Witchshadow and Witchlight.

Truthwitch is the first volume in The Witchlands and was issued by Tor Teen with an on-sale date of 10 January 2017 for the edition with ISBN 9780765379290. Windwitch is the second volume in The Witchlands, and Bloodwitch is the third volume.

Dennard’s later work includes The Luminaries trilogy, which features The Luminaries, The Hunting Moon and The Whispering Night. She also wrote The Executioners Three, a young adult horror novel issued by Tor Teen.
