Recommended reading books for primary & secondary aged children in the UK
Sophie Jo is a British author of young adult fiction. She was selected for the Madeleine Milburn Literary, TV & Film Agency’s first mentorship scheme in 2020 and is represented by the agency. Her debut novel, The Nicest Girl, was published in 2022.
Her second young adult novel, Red Flags, was acquired by Scholastic in 2024 after a six-way auction and is scheduled for publication in February 2025.
Alongside her fiction, Sophie Jo has worked with Women’s Aid to support young people in recognising healthy and unhealthy relationships.
