Sarah Bowie biography

Sarah Bowie is an Irish author and illustrator known for her work in children’s literature. She has written and illustrated several picture books, including Let’s See Ireland!, published by O’Brien Press in 2016. Bowie has also illustrated books for other authors, such as We’re Going to the Zoo! by Sarah Webb, published in 2017 by O’Brien Press.

Bowie is a founding member of The Comics Lab, a Dublin-based group supporting comic creators. Her work has appeared in anthologies and exhibitions, and she has contributed to the Irish comics scene through workshops and events. In addition to her books, Bowie has produced comics and illustrations for various publications and projects.

Her book Let’s See Ireland! was shortlisted for the Literacy Association of Ireland Children’s Book Award in 2017. Bowie continues to work as an illustrator and author, with her books published by established Irish publishers.
