Ross MacKenzie is a Scottish author known for his children’s and young adult fiction. He is the author of The Nowhere Emporium, published by Floris Books in 2015. The novel won the Blue Peter Book Award for Best Story in 2016 and the Scottish Children’s Book Award in 2015. MacKenzie’s other works include The Elsewhere Emporium (2018), a sequel to The Nowhere Emporium, and Shadowsmith (2016).
He has also written Feast of the Evernight (2020) and The Colour of Hope (2021), both published by Floris Books. MacKenzie’s books are noted for their fantasy elements and are aimed at middle-grade readers. His work has been recognised by several literary awards, including the Scottish Teenage Book Prize shortlist for The Nowhere Emporium in 2017.
Ross MacKenzie’s books have been published in the UK and internationally. The Nowhere Emporium has been translated into multiple languages. In 2022, he published The Treasure Hunters with Floris Books.
