Rachel Delahaye writes children’s fiction. Her work includes teen science fiction, upper middle-grade eco-thriller writing, middle-grade comedy, animal adventure fiction, and fiction and poetry for accelerated reading schemes and level readers designed to support children’s reading confidence.

Electric Life is a teen science-fiction novel by Rachel Delahaye and was published in paperback on 6 July 2023. The book was longlisted for the 2024 Yoto Carnegie Medal for Writing.

Day of the Whale is an upper middle-grade eco-thriller by Rachel Delahaye and was published in paperback on 28 April 2022. The book was nominated for the 2023 Yoto Carnegie Medal for Writing.

Her series work includes Mort the Meek, a three-book middle-grade series, Little Animal Rescue, a six-book animal adventure series illustrated by Suzie Mason and Artful Doodlers, and Jim Reaper, a three-book comedy series. Mort the Meek and the Ravens’ Revenge, the first Mort the Meek book, was published in 2021.

Rachel Delahaye is also the author of Lists for Curious Kids: Human Body in the Curious Lists series.
