Piotr Socha is a Polish illustrator and graphic designer known for his work in children’s literature. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he specialised in graphic design. Socha has contributed illustrations to a range of publications, including books and magazines, and has also worked in the field of press illustration.
He is the author and illustrator of Bees, a large-format non-fiction book for children, which explores the world of bees through detailed illustrations and informative text. Bees was first published in 2015 by Wydawnictwo Dwie Siostry in Poland and later published in English by Thames & Hudson. Socha has also created The Book of Trees, another illustrated non-fiction title that introduces young readers to the history and significance of trees.
Piotr Socha’s Bees was published in English by Thames & Hudson in 2016.
