Mick Jackson biography

Mick Jackson is a British author known for his work in both adult and children’s literature. He studied theatre arts at Dartington College of Arts. Jackson began his career as a writer with novels for adults, and later expanded into writing for younger readers.

His first children’s book, While You Are Sleeping, was published by Walker Books in 2012. The book explores the world at night, depicting what happens while a child sleeps. Jackson’s writing for children is characterised by imaginative storytelling and a focus on everyday experiences seen from a unique perspective.

In addition to his work for children, Jackson has written several novels for adults, including The Underground Man, which was shortlisted for the Booker Prize in 1997. He has also published short stories and contributed to anthologies.

Jackson’s children’s book While You Are Sleeping was published by Walker Books in 2012.
