Marc Martin is an Australian author and illustrator known for his work in children’s literature. He studied graphic design and began his career as a designer before moving into illustration and writing. Martin’s books often explore themes related to nature, travel, and the environment, and are recognised for their distinctive watercolour illustrations.
His debut picture book, A Forest, was published in 2012. He has since written and illustrated several other titles, including A River, Lots, Max, and Masters of Disguise. Martin’s books have been published by Penguin Random House and other major publishers. His work has received recognition in Australia and internationally, and he has been shortlisted for awards such as the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) Book of the Year.
In 2016, Marc Martin’s book Lots was published by Penguin Random House.
