Lucinda Gifford is a children’s author and illustrator from the United Kingdom. Her work spans children’s books and graphic novels. She has illustrated more than 30 books and has also written children’s books of her own.
Her books include The Wolves of Greycoat Hall, Boris in Switzerland and Wolves of Greycoat Hall: Tayles of the Forest. The Wolves of Greycoat Hall series features wolf characters and is part of her fiction work for children.
Gifford wrote and illustrated Whitney and Britney Chicken Divas, a 32-page picture book about Dora the fox and two chickens who disappear each night. She also wrote and illustrated Whitney and Britney Chicken Detectives, a 32-page picture book in which Dora’s chickens investigate the disappearance of Gloria.
Whitney and Britney Chicken Divas was chosen for National Simultaneous Storytime in 2020. Gifford received the Five Mile Press Illustrator Prize in 2014.
