Lauren Muñoz is an American author of young adult fiction. According to her official website and publisher sources, she writes contemporary and thriller novels for teen readers. Muñoz holds a Master of Fine Arts in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts.
Her debut novel, Suddenly a Murder, was published by G.P. Putnam’s Sons Books for Young Readers in 2023. The book is a murder mystery set during a glamorous 1920s-themed graduation party, where a group of friends become suspects after a murder occurs. The novel has been described by the publisher as a locked-room mystery for young adults.
