Keith Campion biography

Keith Campion is a children’s author and primary school teacher. His debut, The Last Post, is a First World War story that has been picked up by schools for cross-curricular English and history work.

He went on to write the linked school stories The Flower Boy and Flower Power!, which follow a pupil navigating the move from primary to secondary school. These titles have been used in Year 6 classrooms as part of transition-focused reading.

Campion’s later work includes The Chemist, a historical novel set in post-war 1950s Britain, and Rock the World, his first foray into fiction for adults.

The Last Post was adapted into a touring theatre production by Hobgoblin Theatre Company.
