Kate Pankhurst biography

Kate Pankhurst is a British author and illustrator known for her children’s non-fiction and picture books. She studied illustration at the University of Central Lancashire. Pankhurst is the creator of the Fantastically Great Women series, which introduces young readers to notable women from history. The first book in the series, Fantastically Great Women Who Changed the World, was published by Bloomsbury in 2016. The series includes titles such as Fantastically Great Women Who Made History, Fantastically Great Women Who Worked Wonders, and Fantastically Great Women Who Saved the Planet.

In addition to her non-fiction work, Pankhurst has written and illustrated fiction for children, including the Mariella Mystery series, which follows a young detective and her friends as they solve mysteries. The Mariella Mystery books are published by Bloomsbury.
