Jordyn Taylor is a Canadian-born author of young adult fiction. She is known for writing historical and contemporary novels that often explore themes of identity, family, and secrets. Taylor’s debut novel, The Paper Girl of Paris, was published by HarperTeen in 2020. The book alternates between two timelines, following a modern-day teenager and her connection to her grandmother’s experiences in Nazi-occupied Paris during the Second World War.
Her second novel, Don’t Breathe a Word, was released by HarperTeen in 2021. This work centres on a group of students at a boarding school who become involved in a secret society, delving into the consequences of secrecy and loyalty among friends.
In addition to her writing, Jordyn Taylor has worked as a journalist and editor. She has contributed to publications such as Men’s Health and Mic, where she has covered a range of topics including culture, health, and current events.
Jordyn Taylor’s third novel, The Revenge Game, was published by Delacorte Press in 2023.
