Recommended reading books for primary & secondary aged children in the UK
Jennifer Jamieson is a children’s illustrator and designer.
Her publisher profile states that she creates illustrated characters for children’s books and that her work is recognised for bright colour, pattern and textured detail.
Jamieson has illustrated children’s titles for Hachette Children’s Group, including books in the Confident Kids series by Honor Head. Confident Kids!: Respect Others is listed for publication on 10 July 2025.
She has also illustrated fiction for younger readers, including Ghosts of Mars: The Adventures of Eva Knight by Stuart White, Bad Hair Day by John Phillips, and The Painting Puzzle, a Famous Five Colour Short Stories title written by Sufiya Ahmed from Enid Blyton’s characters.
Jamieson is also credited as editor, with Robert Mitchell, of When Minutes Matter.
