James Dashner biography

James Dashner is an American author known for writing fiction for children and young adults. He is best recognised for The Maze Runner series, which began with the publication of The Maze Runner in 2009. The series includes sequels such as The Scorch Trials (2010), The Death Cure (2011), and prequels including The Kill Order (2012) and The Fever Code (2016). Dashner has also written The 13th Reality series, which started with The Journal of Curious Letters in 2008.

Dashner’s books are published by Delacorte Press, an imprint of Penguin Random House. His work often explores themes of survival, technology, and dystopian societies, and is aimed at middle grade and young adult readers. In addition to his main series, Dashner has written The Eye of Minds (2013), the first book in the Mortality Doctrine series, which also includes The Rule of Thoughts (2014) and The Game of Lives (2015).
