E. Kennedy biography

E. Kennedy is the name used by Elle Kennedy for young adult thriller fiction. Elle Kennedy is a New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author whose published work includes contemporary fiction and romance novels.

Kennedy holds a BA in English from York University. Her official author website lists more than fifty published novels and identifies Thornbird as a title written under the name E. Kennedy.

Thornbird is her first young adult thriller. The novel follows Ryan Shipley, the daughter of convicted serial killer Gabriel Thorn, as new attention to her father’s crimes brings buried secrets back into the open.

In the UK, Thornbird is published by Electric Monkey, an imprint of HarperCollins Children’s Books. HarperCollins lists the UK paperback edition for publication on 2 July 2026.
