Cathy Evans biography

Cathy Evans is a UK-based veterinary surgeon and children’s author. She lives in Bournemouth and has two sons and keeps a collection of animals.

She has written at least three books for young children and picture-book readers, including Cat Eyes and Dog Whistles (2021) and Mama Mammals (2023).

Her works frequently explore the natural world and animals. Why Do We Sleep? is another of her titles, contributing to her presence in early years and children’s non-fiction publishing.

Cat Eyes and Dog Whistles was published by Cicada in 2021.
