Catalina Echeverri is a Colombian-born author and illustrator of children’s books. She studied graphic design in Milan and completed an MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art. Echeverri has illustrated numerous picture books, including titles for publishers such as Bloomsbury, Nosy Crow, and Lion Hudson.
Her work includes illustrations for the ‘Tales That Tell the Truth’ series, published by The Good Book Company, which features titles such as The Garden, the Curtain and the Cross and The Friend Who Forgives. She has also illustrated There’s a Dinosaur in My Bathtub by Catalina Echeverri, published by Bloomsbury in 2014, and Monty the Sad Puppy by Holly Webb, published by Stripes Publishing.
Echeverri’s books have been translated into multiple languages. Her illustrations for The Garden, the Curtain and the Cross contributed to the book winning the 2017 Christian Resources Together Children’s Book of the Year award.
