Ashley Woodfolk is an American author known for her contributions to young adult literature. She graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in English Literature. Woodfolk has worked in the publishing industry, which has informed her writing career.
Her debut novel, The Beauty That Remains, was published in 2018 by Delacorte Press. The book explores themes of grief and healing through the interconnected stories of three teenagers. It received positive reviews for its emotional depth and character development.
In 2019, Woodfolk released When You Were Everything, also published by Delacorte Press. This novel examines the complexities of friendship and personal growth, focusing on the aftermath of a friendship breakup.
Woodfolk contributed to the anthology Blackout, published in 2021, which features interconnected stories by six Black authors. The book was well-received and praised for its diverse representation and engaging narratives.
