Andy Jones is an Australian children’s author, entertainer, musician and comedian known for high-energy performances at schools, libraries and festivals. He combines music, comedy, movement and audience participation in his shows, and has performed with the band The Funky Monkeys, releasing six music albums for children through ABC Music, EMI and Festival Records.
Jones has written several bestselling joke books for children, including the Hot Jokes for Kool Kids series, which have sold over 500,000 copies. Other humorous titles include The Fartionary and The Burptionary, both of which use playful language and humour to engage young readers.
He is the author of illustrated fiction for early readers, such as The Adventures of Scooterboy & Skatergirl, and the writing-inspiration guide Unleash Your Creative Monster, designed to encourage creativity among children.
