Alexandra Penfold biography

Alexandra Penfold is a literary agent at Upstart Crow and a writer of children’s picture books. Her books include Eat, Sleep, Poop, published by Knopf Books for Young Readers on 13 September 2016; The Littlest Viking, published by Knopf Books for Young Readers on 2 January 2018; and All Are Welcome, illustrated by Suzanne Kaufman and published by Knopf Books for Young Readers on 10 July 2018.

Penfold continued her work with Suzanne Kaufman in the All Are Welcome series with Big Feelings on 2 March 2021, All Are Neighbors on 23 August 2022, Wherever You Go on 12 March 2024, Let’s Eat and Let’s Make Music on 7 May 2024, and Stepping Up! on 11 March 2025. Her next All Are Welcome picture book, Welcome to Our Classroom!, is scheduled for publication by Knopf Books for Young Readers on 16 June 2026.
