Alastair Chisholm is a British author known for his work in children’s literature, particularly in the genres of science fiction and fantasy. He has written both picture books and novels aimed at young readers. Chisholm’s debut novel, Orion Lost, was published by Nosy Crow in 2020. The book is a science fiction adventure set in space, following a group of children who must navigate their spaceship after the adults on board are incapacitated.
In addition to Orion Lost, Chisholm has authored the Dragon Storm series, which includes titles such as Dragon Storm: Tomas and Ironskin and Dragon Storm: Cara and Silverthief. These books, published by Nosy Crow, explore themes of friendship and courage in a fantasy setting where children bond with dragons.
Chisholm has also written picture books, including The Prince and the Witch and the Thief and the Bears, illustrated by Jez Tuya, which was published by Walker Books. This book is a playful and imaginative story that has been well-received for its engaging narrative and vibrant illustrations.
