Tania Biswas is a manga editor and letterer whose work has appeared in English-language manga and young adult graphic novel publishing. She worked at Yen Press from its launch in 2007 and later held the role of senior editor there.
At Yen Press, Biswas edited the English edition of Yana Toboso’s Black Butler. Her lettering credits include Toilet-bound Hanako-kun, Vol. 1 by AidaIro, translated by Alethea Nibley and Athena Nibley. Yen Press released the first volume as an ebook on 29 August 2017 and in print on 28 January 2020, with a Teen age rating.
In 2019, Biswas joined Penguin Random House as senior editor for Square Enix Manga & Books, working across editorial, localisation and production for the English-language imprint. Square Enix Manga & Books was set up to publish English editions directly for worldwide readers.
Her Square Enix Manga & Books credits include editorial work on the English-language manga edition of The Apothecary Diaries, by Natsu Hyuuga, Nekokurage and Itsuki Nanao, with character design by Touco Shino. Volumes 12 and 13 of The Apothecary Diaries won Best Continuing Series at the 2025 American Manga Awards, with Biswas listed as editor.
