Recommended reading books for primary & secondary aged children in the UK
Stew Wright is a children’s book illustrator and designer. He founded the studio 2Wright Design in 2010, drawing on a background in graphic design and traditional art to work across children’s publishing, character design, cartography and branding.
In picture books he is best known for illustrating Jay Vincent’s Muddled Monkey Tales titles for Mini Meze Publishing. The series launched with Orangutan Who Sang (Mini Meze, 14 October 2019), followed by Much Ado About A Cock-a-doodle-doo (Mini Meze, 17 March 2021) and The Shark Who Barked (Mini Meze, 8 June 2022). Publisher and retailer listings credit Wright as the illustrator on these titles.
Alongside book work, Wright produces commissioned artwork through 2Wright Design and collaborates with authors and independent publishers on children’s projects.
