Shamini Flint is a writer of children’s books and crime fiction. She graduated from the University of Cambridge and worked as a lawyer, including for UK firms such as Linklaters, before focusing on writing.
She created the Sasha children’s travel picture books, a series set in Asian locations and published through her own company. In 2004, she founded Sunbear Publishing Co. in Singapore to publish books for children in Southeast Asia.
Flint also writes illustrated diary-format fiction for children, including titles in her Diary of a… series published by Allen & Unwin. One example is Diary of a Rugby Champ, released on 2 January 2013.
