Rosie Jones biography
Rosie Jones is a British stand-up comedian and children’s author who has cerebral palsy. Before publishing children’s books, she wrote for panel shows, appeared on The Last Leg, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Hypothetical, and wrote for Sex Education. In 2018, she was awarded second place in the Leicester Mercury New Comedian of the Year.
The Edie Eckhart books centre on Edie, a disabled girl with cerebral palsy, and The Amazing Edie Eckhart: The Friend Mission was published on 15 February 2024. Rosie Jones also wrote Moving On Up: Beat the bullies, make fearless friendships and deal with funny fails, illustrated by Hayley Wells and published by Wren & Rook in 2024 for readers aged 9 to 11.
